It's Your Turn

🌱 It's Your Turn was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2023, with the theme "Roles Reversed" 🌱

🌿 Our Concept ! 🌿

In this 2 players game, you take control of two tiny pebbles in a forest, fighting for their freedom ! Only one can win and escape. 💥

There are two roles : 

• Runner : only the Runner scores points. As a Runner, you can run around freely. Your goal is to remain a Runner as long as possible.

• Shooter : the Shooter cannot move and does not score points, but can shoot deadly thorns ! If you hit the Runner, you become Runner and they become Shooter in your stead.

          To make things interesting, power-ups (as the little flower you can see above !) appear randomly in the arena. If you interact with a power-up sharing your color, you pick it up and get empowered. If you interact with the opponent's color, you destroy it !

          Runners can pick power-ups by walking on them, Shooters can do so by hitting them three times with projectiles.

• Player 1 uses WASD / ZQSD
• Player 2 uses ←↑→↓
• Both players can use ESC to pause !
